This document is a guide to running a workshop with educators who want to explore how to integrate immersive reality into their teaching. It is particularly thought for those educators who are inexperienced with the use of technology. The underlying principle for this workshop is that it is not the technology that is the starting point but the pedagogy. Technology becomes a mediator of pedagogy. Therefore, the workshop is designed upon three dimensions, the personal dimension, where you will explore your values and positionality concerning functional diversity; the pedagogical dimension, which concerns a theoretical approach to teaching based on critical pedagogy inspired by Paulo Freire; and the technological dimension, where participants will explore the socio-technical context within which they operate, that is the material context for action. The workshop has a website where the activities are embedded with all the links to the interactive tools used during the workshop. It also contains a theoretical rationale that justifies the workshop’s design and methodological guide. In this guide I will not go through the activities in detail as they are described in the website, what I will do here is to describe an overview of each dimension and go through the slides and how they should be used for each dimension.
